Snow Clearing Regulations
Effective: 1st October to 30 April, every year
Residents are advised that it is against the town of north river snow clearing regulations for any persons to push, shovel or blow snow onto town streets or lanes.
This practice makes snow removal more difficult; it can create a dangerous situation for vehicular traffic.
Also, as per section 172 of the municipalities act 1999 vehicles that hinder or impede the ploughing of or removal of snow or ice from the highway may be removed and before the vehicle is returned to its owner, the owner shall pay the costs of its removal and storage as determined by council and where those cost are not paid by the owner, the council may, after giving notice to the owner sell the vehicle by public auction to satisfy those cost.

New Town Sign
The Town Council is very excited to unveil the Town's new sign.
We would like to thank and acknowledge North River resident Roger Pike for donating and arranging the complete design, construction and installation of this beautiful sign.
All flowers were grown in Mr. Pikes green house in North River.
North River is a place we truly love to call home!!!
